The Challenge

Shatin Park is a public park in Hong Kong. In the picnic area, by the Shing Mun River, the park management wanted to conceal a grey wall belonging to a technical space, and was looking for a solution to quickly improve this sitting and recreation area.

The Solution

As an alternative to a depressing wall, we have a green wall with two intertwined and juxtaposed hearts that serves as a backdrop to many photos of newly wedded couples coming from the nearby “Shatin Marriage Registry”. This green wall was one of the first to use the Minigarden Vertical system and it was completely assembled in 1 day.
